Nick Dolbin Takes Over as Chief of Police in Timberlake

 


The Village of Timberlake has recently undergone significant changes within its police department. On November 20, Chief Susan Scofield resigned, and the following day, Sgt. Nick Dolbin was sworn in as the new Chief of Police by Mayor John Marra.

Scofield has filed a civil lawsuit against the village, alleging discrimination based on sex, religion, and age. Additionally, the department has welcomed several new part-time and auxiliary officers as part of an effort to rebuild and strengthen its team through focused recruitment and training initiatives.
