Nick Dolbin Supports Hope Lodge Breast Cancer Fundraiser

Timberlake Police Chief Nick Dolbin supported a community donation event designed to help people facing cancer. On October 17, 2026, the Timberlake Police Department worked with the American Cancer Society and Hope Lodge to host the Fill the Trunk fundraiser at Timberlake Village Hall. Residents were encouraged to fill a police cruiser with household necessities, cleaning supplies, and restaurant gift cards. The initiative followed the department's creation of pink patches to promote breast cancer awareness.

The fundraiser had personal importance for Dolbin, whose mother, Helen Dolbin, died in July 2022 after a breast cancer diagnosis in 2003. Another relative is currently facing the disease. Beyond this event, Dolbin has contributed to youth service and firearm safety programs throughout his law enforcement career. In January 2026, his department earned recognition from the Ohio Association of Chiefs of Police for community service. Uncover the Details.
